Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank leaves President Trump’s American Manufacturing Council becoming the second of the day.
Plank didn’t give a reason for leaving but his departure comes amid growing backlash for the President’s initial response to a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, VA that left at least three people dead.
“I love our country and our company and will continue to focus my efforts on inspiring every person that they can do anything through the power of sport which promotes unity, diversity and inclusion,” Plank said in a statement.
